For Paid Employers you can Contact a Carer Directly
If you already know a carer you trust, simply reach out to them with your request. Make sure they have “Available for House Sitting” on their profile.

What Checks Are Done on the Carer?
All house sitters are selected from PrivCare’s trusted network of carers. Before being matched for house sitting, they must meet the following criteria:

Professional references or care experience

“Available for House Sitting” added to their profile
Can the Carer Leave the House?
Yes — but with agreed boundaries.
Carers are not expected to remain indoors 24/7, unless specified. However:

They must never leave the property for extended periods without notifying the client.

Any short errands (e.g. shop visits) should be communicated in advance.

If continuous presence is needed (e.g. for pet care), that should be agreed before the booking.
